Ingredients for chicken parmesan:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts make up the ingredients.

• 1 cup regular flour

• 2 beaten eggs

• One-cup of breadcrumbs

• A half-cup of parmesan cheese, grated

• Two cups of tomato sauce

• 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded

• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

• Add pepper and salt to taste

• Using olive oil when frying


Instructions to make chicken parmesan:


1. Set the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).


2. Pound the chicken breasts to a thickness of roughly 1/2 inch. Add salt and pepper to each component.


3. Set up three shallow dishes as a breading station. Put the flour in the first bowl, the beaten eggs in the second, and the breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese together in the third.


4. After each hen breast has been coated with flour, shake off any excess. Following that, coat it in the breadcrumb mixture before dipping it into the beaten eggs.


5. Over medium-high heat, warm up a generous 1/4 inch of olive oil in a big skillet. Cook the breaded chicken breasts through and golden brown, 3–4 minutes on each side. To drain any extra oil, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.


6. Cover the bottom of a baking dish with about 1/4 cup of marinara sauce. On top of the sauce, arrange the fried chicken breasts in a single layer. More sauce should be added to completely coat the chicken.


7. Top the sauce with the shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.


8. Top with freshly chopped basil and serve immediately with pasta or veggies. Enjoy your mouthwatering chicken parmesan!
